undoubtedly, a somewhat talented band. I didn't get heavily into their music - as in I didn't pirate the whole CD - but I thought before they had a good sound, some defining creativity, and pretty decent musicianship. I was kinda put off how they wanted to sound up to date with the scratching and whatnot, so why doesn't it suprise me that the clips of music I've seen/heard of them looks very Hives/Strokes? I'm not judging everything they're putitng out now, because I've heard so little of it, but it seems like they're putting out there a product that's warmed over.

I always thought they separated themselves from any other band. They are different and they have toured with any type of music. I dig em, but I haven't picked up the new cd yet. Or burn I should say.

um they have like 6 CDs ...they used to be my favorite band ...I still think SCIENCE is the best cd ever recorded....they get worse w/ every cd...I have the entire new one. I would rather listen to Amy Grant...I stabbed my eyes out after 2 songs.

having heard the entire new one, would you say that they're trying to mold their sound too much to be what's currently popular?

yes definitely so much so that they have gone out of the realm of whats popular. its veeeeeeerrrrry extreme. Its like they are trying to pull a Radiohead and split the line of experiment and popular only they are not as talented.
