    Excellent story line. I thought it was going to be a Dreamscape remake of sorts, but I was wrong.

    just watched this on dvd. awesome movie. nolan is a genius.

    there is no answer to whether the top fell or not. it's up to the viewer to decide what they think.

    honestly, the whole thing seemed like it was a dream based on how it was shot, but i think that was just nolan's way of paying homage to the subject matter. specifically, i'm talking about how scenes were picked up in the middle of action very much like dicaprio explains in the movie itself -- you never remember how you got to where you are in a dream, you're just there.

    the reality of "real world" itself didn't make a ton of sense when you think about it. why was his first client trying to kill him for failing on the mission? who are all these dream infiltration people and where do they come from and how are they trained? how did michael caine's character know ellen page's character and that she'd be a good dream architect? to me, these quirks all imply that even the real world was a dream world in the movie.
