    they held the Bears to 13 points after the offense gave away 10 and could keep the ball for hardly anytime at all

    they didn't dominate like they did the Jets, but they we're playing from behind, the bears played with a lead all day...I really shouldn't have to explain that

    The main problem with the D is when we had them backed up where we could get good field position if we stopped them, the Defense let them have 30-40 yards before forcing them to punt.

    Fair enough, although dropped passes saved the defense in the beginning before they were "worn down."

    That's all the Bears usually score anyway. The problem is that we gave up far too many yards to Chicago and couldn't get the ball back for the offense. If you want to say the defense was better than the offense, I have no problem with that, but there's no question that the defense played poorly today too. We couldn't stop the run, and we made a terrible rookie quarterback look good. If not for some drops by Muhammad and Clark, they would have scored more than just 13.

    for the most part i gotta agree. smitty played pretty well. fox looked good on the sideline. probably some, but i can't think of any other positives.
