    health rider and pilates chair I think, can't do nordic track till I get my foot fixed. And that I can't do too long either have go a short time a lot spaced during the day. If I exercise till the muscles start quivering, I'm causing nerve damage.

    try this on the health rider. HIIT High Intensity Interval Training. Start with 5 minutes.

    1 minute warm up at an easy pace. Then do 30 seconds as hard as you can go, then 30 seconds easy pace then 30 seconds as hard as you can go, then easy then hard until the 4 minutes is up. From what I read this type of training is very effective because in a 5 to 10 minute period you can get similar results as if you did 30 minutes at a moderate pace. Eventually work up to say 15 minutes. But do that over a period of weks.

    Can anyone refute this? I really do not want to hand out bad advice.
