    I'm not sure.

If yards count, we were dominant.

UT had 20 first downs to four for Fresno State, and 433 yards to 117 for Fresno State.

And yet we scored only 24 points.

Let me get in on this!

    :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

BC had the lead with about 1:30 left in the game and gave up a 50 yard TD to lose it.

    Wake - 32
    BC - 28

wee preturbed that our kicker missed two inside the 35. perturbed that we went for it on 4th and 3 so late in the game, and that our QB and our WR were so lazy on that pick that went for FS only score. Lazy, late pass, and then the reciever didn't fight.

The first INT wasn't that bad of a play. It was a blitz, we had single coverage outside, and Banks beat him twice before on the same post route. Twice bitten, three times shy, the guy was looking for the post and Banks gave up on the route rather which was the cause of the pick.

He's got real talent, and if he quits the QB dream sticks to being a reciever he'll be rich in a couple years (assuming we find a replacement for Casey next year). But he needs some more mental toughness.

He made some great plays in space, and that sideline catch was spectacular.

However, I was impressed with the coaching and Southern play of USC. No West Coast wussyboys on Saturday.

    Hey App,

Don't get too down. I expect App State to make another run at the playoffs (though the Southern Conf. does look tough this year). I still get sick thinking about that App State playoff win over Furman last year.

It wasn't even that close, Piper.

The Fresno media has been hyping the 'Dogs skill players all week, and keep overlooking the lines. Now we know why. Okay, so we've got some NFL Draft quality WR's, some All-WAC LB's, and a record-setting tailback, but games are won and lost in the trenches.

And good night are we sorry in the trenches.

Criminy, every time Tennessee handed the ball off, I swear half the back 7 disappeared. It was like the white sea parted for the popsicle orange. :shakehead

But all is not lost -- at least Navy won! :D

    Welcome to SEC football. :)

I'm just worried about Florida and Georgia. Defenses their are just as good as ours. We won't be able to just run over them.

We both lost in the first round of last year's playoffs. That App win was during the regular season.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Are you "I-AA BUFORD" from the old escribe I-AA board?

Clearly we ain't ready for prime time football. :( Guess we'll have to go back home with our tails tucked between our legs and punk some more PAC-10 teams. :)
