don't plan on finding much there after the season. i just looked at the list of fa in the 03 offseason and here is what i found.

    Jake Plummer
    Jeff Blake
    Gus Frerotte
Aaron Brooks (look for him to re-sign before offseason)
    Charlie Batch
    Rob Johnson
    Shaun King
    Shane Matthews
    Danny Wuerfful

Other than Johnson and Plummer, would any of these guys really be an upgrade on what we already have? On a positive note, the WR market is loaded led by David Boston and Peerless Price.

The Cards are screwed. They'll franchise either Boston or Plummer but lose the other guy.

Posted the same list earlier under QB 2003 thread. Brooks is the best of the lot, but he'll be off the market before FA rolls around. We had a shot at Blake this year but passed in favor of Peete. Batch, Johnson, and Frerotte are mediocre QB's and will cost more than they'll be able to bring to the team. Matthews and Wuerfful are system QB's, if they can't hold down the job in DC they're out of the league IMHO. Plummer is too inconsistant. King might fit the system better than the rest.

King would be my guy. The Bucs won't likely keep Sean King AND Brad Johnson, I'd take either.

I agree T! King is the most likely to be available and would fit nicely. The thing I like most about King is that he takes care of the ball. While he is a bit of a system guy, he could easily fit this system.
Plummer will be retained, he doesn't want to leave Arizona. Boston is the one I see moving on. Boston will resurface in Big Ten country somewhere, maybe even Ohio(Browns/Bengals) or Philly.
