Thanks to the board, I read the "Da Vinci Code." A great thriller based on many esoteric theories of religion/Christianity.

I've been reading on the subject since the original publication of "Holy Blood, Holy Grail". In one of the threads, someone mentioned there was no bibliography in "Da Vinci Code" so here's a list if you want to learn more.

Some of the books are more accessible than others and some are definitely more entertaining but here's a start:

    • Holy Blood Holy Grail by Baigent
    • The Messianic Legacy by Michael Baigent, et al
    • The Templar Revelation: Secret Guardians of the True Identity of Christ by Lynn Picknett
    • The Hiram Key: Pharaohs, Freemasons and the Discovery of the Secret Scrolls of Jesus by Christopher Knight, Robert Lomas
    • Second Messiah: Templars, the Turin Shroud and the Great Secret of Freemasonry by Christopher Knight, Robert Lomas
    • The Lost Treasure of the Knights Templar: Solving the Oak Island Mystery by Steven Sora
    • Bloodline of the Holy Grail: The Hidden Lineage of Jesus Revealed by Laurence Gardner, Prince Michael of Albany
    • Rosslyn: Guardians of the Secrets of the Holy Grail
    by Tim Wallace-Murphy, Marilyn Hopkins
    • The Tomb of God by Richard/Schellenberg Andrews
    • The Holy Place: Discovering the Eighth Wonder of the Ancient World by Henry Lincoln
    • Key to the Sacred Pattern: The Untold Story of Rennes-Le-Chateau by Henry Lincoln

The last 3 are the most involved with "Sacred Geometry" and are the hardest to enjoy.

Bootay and Matpile are reading this. There is brief mention of 4 or 5 of these in the middle of the D' Code.

Got the book and couldn't put it down. Read the entire book yesterday. Very cool although I kinda caught on to who the Teacher was soon after "he" was formally introduced. (Trying not to ruin it.) You also can see the Sophie thing coming.
