Unlike yourself, Im pulling stats from NFL.com and presenting them for analysis, which show that JD sucks. Youre presenting your opinion, if anything is dull, its your unsupported argument.

Stats are useful but do not tell you everything. We are not talking about fantasy football.

They tell me a heck of a lot more then "I think Jake is great, its the Olines fault".

The specifically tell me more then someone says that, and I then go and see that before Jake was injured we were top 11 in fewest sacks allowed.

Look at Jake's stats for the whole time he has been a starter for Carolina and then tell me how he looks. This year does not exist in a vacuum.

Thats what everyone who has been posting stats are saying, he has been terrible this year, especially in the clutch. Personally, I think he's been overrated for quite some time, having ridden on first Davis' coattails and next Smith's. Some people just dont want to acknowledge it, but the numbers arent lieing. It'd be one thing if its 3rd and 9every time, but its not, and it hasnt changed much from previous years, yet our conversion rate is terrible, then you look at JD's numbers on 3rd down, and theyre terrible too. Im not saying our Oline is great, obviously I realize we are missing starters, but JD has not stepped up, and the numbers say he has regressed in some important areas.

Dude, that's not it. You don't seem to get points that anyone has made until it's hammered home repeatedly to you. You're just slow, that's all. It's ok as long as you get there eventually.
No, not just Jake, but he's been the biggest reason for our struggles by far. The lack of a consistent running game has hurt, as has poor tackling from the linebackers, but Jake is the reason our scoring is down tremendously, why we wear out our defense in the first three quarters since we can't maintain drives on offense, and why we put the defense in bad situations after turnovers.
Hi, my name is Stephen Davis.

Honestly, this gets old. Whether it's Morgan or whatever else, so many people just disagree with me endlessly and what happens much later down the road? They find out I was right all along. Seems like you guys would wise up sooner or later.

Big difference between "fine" and "perfect." You believe that Jake is fine and that we don't need a change at quarterback. I believe that he's not adequate anymore and that we do need a new starter there.
I'm not the one lying about what the opposite has said, dude. You can accuse me of bias all you want, but I'm the one with the facts and you're the one with the lies. I don't think that looks good for your side.
No, we haven't. We've been above average in pass protection whether you want to look at sacks or quarterback hurries or whatever.
When you say things like this it's almost like you don't even watch the games. No, the TE doesn't regularly help the RT on pass plays. Mangum blocks in the run game, but usually goes out on routes when we pass.
Are you kidding? Jake's pass that Atlanta intercepted in front of Moose for a TD to win that game was a slant. Jake's pass right to Lance Shulters intended for Keary Colbert to win that game was a slant too. We've always used the slant.
What it means is that the idea that we're in far more third and longers is false. We have struggled to run the ball every year since 2003. The difference between those years and this one is that Jake sucks monkey balls in 2006.

Football is a team sport. We suck as a team right now. In the Dallas and Cinci game the offense put up a 14-0 lead with Jake playing well in the first half, yet our rested defense still gave up too many points. I'm not trying to argue with you but statistics can be twisted any way you want them too. Jake has sucked this year and I do hope he gets better, but in know way is it all him. We've all sucked this year. The bad play has a domino effect, when 1 part doesnt play well it effects all other parts. Basically the arguemnet is like the chicken and the egg. Which fucked up first. This is stupid.....

However they dont cover the fact that when Jake is gone, this team is much, much worse. And yeah, the OL is a major player here, and to pretend it isnt, is pretty pathetic.

One can argue whatever they feel with Jake Delhomme, and can post that they want another quarterback all they want. BUt to say he is the main culprit for this year's failures, after the last two games, is honestly, a tremendously stupid thing to do.

Were a better team RIGHT NOW with Jake than without him.

The fact that this has been discussed to this length is maddening! It's reactionary bullshit.
