That just about sums him up. He's an evil-hearted bold-faced lying fuck who apparently places money and cruelty at the top of his happiness list. Whenever he actually takes the field I will pull for the other team to do to him what he did to numerous dogs . . . Even in the unlikelihood that he's wearing a panthers uni.

Stallworth wasn't very good even before he ran that guy down, so I wouldn't applaud.

Well the panthers would become ESPN darlings with Vick. Probably would mean more primetime spots. So, Pantherland wouldn't be sobbing all the time about their lack of national attention anymore. :gun_bandana:

Aside from that, if he's gonna be given a second, Carolina would be a great place to do it.

    • He wouldn't be expected to come in and be a savior immediately. He would be given time here to show that’s he’s changed and become part of the team and the community.

    • The organization doesn’t put up with rouges and it supports its players ala Smitty and Moose. Since it doesn’t have a history of signing trouble makers and thugs, most fans and the media across the nation won’t be as upset as if a Cincinnati or Baltimore signed him. Given the conservative nature of the franchise and the owner, I think they will be much more accepting.

    • And although horrible, it’s not like dog fighting is shocking news here, so I think the Carolinas will be somewhat more accepting of what happened, and folks outside the Carolinas will be understanding of the fans here being more accepting. It would just reinforce their image of us as a bunch of goobers.

    • The community is the Bible belt so, short of murder or adultery or kicking the ball out of bounds to lose the SB, I think most fans in the Carolinas are willing to give a man a second chance.

    • The panther players have been shown to be forgiving, accepting and supportive ala Peppers and Lucas/Smitty.

    • Marty and John do an excellent job of not responding to questions that really aren’t the world’s business and thus would help a lot in shielding Michael from the press and fans eager to be stupid jerks.

    • Fox does things his way. He’s never been allowed to be pressured or swayed into doing something he doesn’t think is the best for the team. So, I think he wouldn't have any problems handling the distractions that will come with Vick.

    • Fox has the character that Michael needs to learn from. And despite the speculation, I think Fox is here to stay so Vick would be coming into a stable environment that supports its head coach above the egos and whims of the media and us fans.

The question would be how he’d fit into the team. Certainly we would not want the distraction of a QB controversy. So, from that standpoint I’m not sure. But he is such an amazing talent, I’m sure we could find ways to utilize him in our offense without making Jake insecure or causing the team to split. And, I actually think Jake is strong and confident enough to welcome the competition if that was the way it were to go. So I guess my vote is that he signs here ... for not a lot of money.

I would have to pull for some other team or just watch my fantasy players if we sign Vick. I might be for it if we were going to play him at DT :splat:
