    I'm actually starting to think he may sign with Carolina. He will have Tony dungy mentoring him. He was a panthers nemesis - fox has seen him make crazy plays for years. he'd get to get extra fired up for two games a season against the team that cut him - may be worth that extra something against a division rival. He knows the saints and bucs. Gets to have a solid scare in the backfield as a wildcat option. Servicable backup to Jake with big-game experience. The price is right.

    I kind of see a few positives here...

    I don't get the good backup idea, he's inaccurate, inconsistent and needs a special gameplan those are all things I dislike in a backup QB.

    not as a replacement. i think vick would be OK to insert for a series or game, if need be. c'mon -- it'd be fun, wouldn't it? i don't think this is much of a possibility if dungy weren't involved.
