    It comes down to coaching experience to me, especially with a start up program. Mike doesn't have any experience in that regard.

    I tend to think 2012 is to late to hire a coach as well, but I'm not privy to what the AD is thinking so........

    Didnt Georgia State hire their coach 2 years before it hit the field? I think a coach needs to be in place by Spring 2011 at the latest so he can get his staff together and start recruiting. Remember, the Class of 2012 who walk on campus will all be redshirted but will be practicing. So folks need to be in place to start scouting area players in the next year so they can start recruiting.
