    ...should they take Luck and then trade Newton for draft picks? let's say washington would give Carolina their first round picks in the next two drafts.

    personally, I'd take that deal for this year's skins' pick only, but I'm not a Cam Newton pole-smoking panther fan seeing everything through teal-colored glasses.

    So you trade away a guy that has shown hes a winner, has a great attitude/work ethic and has all the tools to be epic for a guy that is hyped and puts up gaudy numbers against shitty defenses in college...Sounds great!

    Andrew Luck (2010) - 263-372, 3338 yds, 32 TDs, 8 INTs.
    Jimmy Claussen (2009) - 289-425, 3722 yds, 28 TDs, 4 INTs.

    I think newton will have a better career long term...If Hurney doesn\'t find a way to handicap the team.

    I have not said anything about the panthers all year. But I just want to say a couple things.
    1. The Panthers blow, they are a bad team. Can't stop getting penelties, SteveSmith thinks he should get calls when he hasn't done anything.
    2 Cam Newton is putting up good numbers, however he is not a leader, when its in the 4th quarter, no true Fan of the game wants the ball in his hands. He has blown several games (although heisn't the only one)
    . Plus how different is Clausen's record than Cam's haha. Cam is suppose to be the savior of the panthers and he isn't.



    As far as Luck, he is a solid QB who will be good in the NFL
