That's what I'd do too, if I couldn't trade the pick.

Do you not think that Marcell Dareus would fit better with Rivera/Panthers?

With Foxy becoming Denver's coach, he screwed us out of trading down. I do believe he would pick Fairly simply to keep the Panthers from getting him.

With Luck gone they need to trade the number 1 for a good QB. Farley is a bigger risk than even Newton. With his body weight will be a problem with each year getting harder and harder to keep it down and I really don't think he is smart enough to be able to stay out of trouble either within the league of with the law. I see tons of problems with him

I think you should work on punctuation and grammar.

If the draft was indeed held today I think the Carolina panthers should pick Nick Fairley DT from Auburn. We all saw what he did on the championship game against Oregon ducks. Furthermore, the Panthers do need an upgrade at DT. Now I'm sure people w why not pick Cam Newton as the Panthers clearly need an upgrade at Quarterback. My Answer as why not pick Cam newton. Right now I don't feel like Cam Newton is ready to start right away. Now off-curses we still have the combine to go through and the Pro Days Workouts. So Cam Newton stock can either rise or drop. Now the same thing can be said about Nick Fairley but as of right now I feel like he much more ready to start then Cam Newton The reason why I think the Carolina Panthers should not consider taking Da'Quan Bowers with the first overall pick in the draft. It is because the Panthers have a really good defensive end in Charles Johnson which I'm sure that had the panthers had a much better record then 2-14 Charles Johnson would have made the pro bowl. And I have every reason to believe that ones. There is a collective bargaining agreement in place. The Panthers will sign Charles Johnson. On the side, the panthers have Greg Hardy and Everett Brown. Hardy played really well last Year. And Brown has shown flash-sh of becoming a very good defensive end. Furthermore, you can't give up on Brown, especially after two years ago you trade away a 1st rd pick to get back into 2nd rd and took Everett Brown. The reason I don't think the panthers should draft Aj Green is because the panthers still have Steve's smith as of right now 1/14/2011 4:55 pm Steve Smith has not asked for a trade, and the Panthers have not trade him away Steve Smith. If the Panthers trade Steve Smith then the panthers should strongly consider taking Aj green with the first overall pick in the up coming draft. Aj Green is 6'4. He had nine Touchdown catch this year while missing three games due to NCAA valuation. Now please keep in mind that at the same time we still have the combine to go through.SpaceAnd the Pro Days workout. Same players' stock will rise or drop bass on the Combine and the Pro days' workout. Even so, of 1/14/2011 The Carolina Panthers should pick Nick Fairley. Let end this by saying as much as it would be great if Andrew Luck would have declared and the panthers would have picked him first overall. However, he is not. With a very good Scout done by the panther. The Cats Should be able to get a very good player with first overall pick

I dont see how using the pick on a linemen can be riskier than using it on a QB. With a QB either he is the guy or he is a waste. Linemen sub in, move around, and take plays off. Even if he turns out to be less than #1 value he will most likely still contribute and play.
