if miss tery can behave,should she be allowed back in?

I like Miss_tery I really do. But I think Hasbeen gave her more than just a second chance, I think it was more like 3, 4 or 10.

I think Miss_tery truly believes that anyone that believes in God is stupid, and she can't argue or debate anyone without that coming across. She usually ends up insulting them or at the very least being very condescending to them.

I agree with Hasbeen that this forum should be treated with respect. And that means treating others that post here with respect. If you can't do that, then you shouldn't be allowed to post here.

 

hasbeens call....i have no problem with his moderating of this forum. he is quite capable of discernment in this category. he has defended her rights many times over. if she comes back, then she comes back. i would continue to respect her in every way.

 

Honestly ... if youre a Christian and know someone has a repenting heart. Isn't allowing them to attone for their mistakes the Christian way??

I, for one, appreciate the irony of a Christian forum in which no one can leave the rocks alone and in the pile when someone gives a big bullseye to throw at. Y'know, live and let live.

So please let her back in so I can watch the dogs show up every time she rings the bell - and then bitch about her ringing it to the point she is banned to protect the harmony or no sniping rule or whatever it is called today.

If Miss tery is willing to participate in this forum in a respectful, or even an intellectually challenging manner without ridiculing other people or their beliefs, of course she can come back -- I'd welcome her back with open arms. Seriously.

But I haven't seen any indication of her willingness to do so. Have any of you? :huh:
This forum was never meant to be a "Christians only" club. We settled that in the poll from last spring, remember? Ecilam, Big Vito, Builder, and others can attest to the fact that I have never turned anyone away, nor allowed them to be ridiculed for disagreeing with Christianity. The same rules apply to everyone -- Miss tery is no exception.

I'm so sorry we didn't have a chance to meet at the game, and even more sorry I haven't called you to thank you for the tickets. I just haven't had any time -- it's been almost non-stop from dawn till dusk since before we even left. When we got back, it didn't get any better -- I had a sermon to write for last weekend, had an all-day conference on Saturday, and taught two classes on Sunday. Of course, the last 2 days at work have been catch-up.

We did have a wonderful time (despite the outcome of the game). The seats were amazing, and the stadium is beautiful. Wish you could've been there. Maybe next time?
