if miss tery can behave,should she be allowed back in?

I believe pretty strongly that it's Hasbeen's decision to make, no more and no less. He's the one who had to deal with a strong amount of grief from Christians for letting her run all over them while she was here, and he's the one who had to make the decision to let her go. I don't think she actively seeks getting in here that much - the want to have her own forum seemed a dig at the fact she was banned from here. I'm sure she'd take a new opportunity to be here - but what she'd do with it? Hard to say, but I don't like the possibilities.


Personally I think that too often this forum becomes a battlefield between believers and non-believers and that there's not enough of a tone set for the sharing of beliefs. I think that 'she' would only serve to divide things further.

I agree. Its Hasbeens decision. "Snipe" can be a difficult thing to define. I personally never complained to him about anything I saw. If other Christians did there probably will be more no votes by the time this thread runs its course.

 

I don't dislike Miss Tery, but I'm skeptical of her desire to do anything but make broad, simplistic attacks on religion/spirituality. If she can debate with civility, I say fine, but if she just wants to repeat the old refrain that if you're not a chess-playing atheist, you're an idiot, she can do it in Rant & Rave.

 

allow me to offer the summation of religious insight i've witnessed from miss_tery:

some christians aren't very christ-like
one day, we'll all get cpu upgrades

the first point is hardly worth pointing out, and it seems nobody's very interested in the second. i'm not sure what else she's got to offer, but again, give a short leash and see what happens.

i was being kind. i think such rants are gerenally about how christians are hypocritical (in her opinion) and thus worthy of ridicule.

 

ironically most christians admit their hypocracies openly.

I did not vote cause I do not know why she was banned. I am pretty thick skinned as most of you know and I do not mind arguing with anyone. I do not mind if she is allowed in here. If she is intentionally offending others in this forum though and not engaging in an actual discussion I can see not letting her in though.
