What's the difference between limited and imperfect, and why does it matter if He was perfect if He was sinless?

Did He not know and accept everything God gave Him to do?

I don't see despair in that context as being wrong, if indeed He was carrying the weight of the sins of humanity in that moment. Did He not immediately follow up His cry with the declaration, "It is finished." (John 19:28-30)

Genesis 6:6-7 says God even despaired at the sin of mankind.

    How so?

    Agreed.

Not quite -- that's only half the message. The first part is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. But to do so within the Biblical context naturally results in love for others, as well as ourselves.

In my understanding (within the scope of this discussion), limited refers to ability, or potential ability. Jesus was limited in human form, compared to His true and full identity. To me, 'imperfect' suggests a flaw, wrongdoing, or failure.

Because one can be sinless without being perfect. The Old Testament is sprinkled with men whom God called sinless, but they were given that label because of their redemptive actions and spirits.

Depends on how we're defining "common law wife", I suppose, and how we would compare that to the idea of marriage in 1st century Israel.

I agree that using small points to seperate christians happens way too much but I do not think this is an example of that. The sinless nature of Jesus which to me relates directly do his diety is not a small or minor point. It goes directly to the message of salvation which is as fundamental to christianity as it gets.
