It is just something for you to think about before you post stuff about Jesus having a common law wife.

I can go to Hell for speculation? How is what you're doing not "sniping"? Just because you quoted the Bible?

You can go to hell for rejecting Jesus Christ and when you accuse him of having a common law wife then you automtically accuse him of not being sinless and therefore not a worthy sacrifice for our sins.

I accept Jesus even if he had 10 commonlaw wives. I've never heard a convincing argument about premarital sex being a sin anyway. Some people try to lump it in with adultery, but I don't buy it. Accepting Jesus is about faith in His connection to and promotion of God's love, not dotted i's and crossed t's. Jesus wasn't perfect.

I'm not quite sure, but the "Hell" part comes in when you have to listen to her relatives badger you with questions on when you are getting married.

If Jesus was not perfect then he could not save you. He had to be a sinless sacrifice in order for his death to be sufficient to pay for the sins of the world.

I find that a goofy concept. Jesus can "save" us because that's what God's love does. Perfect and sinless also aren't necessarily the same thing. Jesus had doubts and was therefore not perfect. Like I said, I don't know that commonlaw marriage is a sin, nor do I know what Jesus did or didn't do with Mary M. You gotta let go on all this need for exact specifics stuff. It's really the opposite of faith.
