I haven't been keeping up with Roy Williams. Would he reconsider after all the dramatics of a couple of years ago?

He might as well. They're probably tired of him underachieving at Kansas by now. ;)

If it ain't Buzz Petersen, it's from outside the alum.
    They won't hire/nor consider Lutz.

Yep, that's why Carolina fans are so respected around the nation. They obviously know so much about hoops.[/sarcasm]

Seriously though, in my experience, 90+% of "name" teams' fans are clueless bandwagoners just looking to be associated with a winner. They dont understand the game, don't know the people, personalities, and for darn sure, not the game. The last Tarheel game I went to, the fans had no idea when and when not to cheer.

If I want a good basketball debate, I'm better off talking to someone who knows something about the game other than "Dean Smith is god" or "teh ACC RuleZ d0Od!". :p

I give credence to some of the Larry Brown rumors Im hearing.

Which is a shame, 'cause that's probably the only guy who could take them back to the promised land.

Nothing against Bobby Lutz - he has done a fine job at UNCC but he would be out of his league in the ACC. He needs to stay right where he is at.

Doh has proven he can recruit but for some reason just pisses his players off in a way that coaches shouldn't be pissing their players off. I think we have the best overall freshman class in the ACC this year.

They'll probably give him one more year to see how things go, unless he voluntarily steps aside. I do agree that they should not worry about their UNC credentials.

Wonder if Eddie Munster down in Florida would like to coach in a premier basketball league? :D

Edit: Two high contributing $$$ UNC Alum were telling me Phil Ford would be a very viable candidate. I didn't even know he was still employed at UNC.
