    Never had gelato. Ever had Spumoni? That's good stuff, too.

    Yes, I worked in several Italian restaurants.

    You have to find a really good Gelato place for it to be truly special. They are probably only found in big cities. The one that convinced me was in Philadelphia.

    I apologize, I should have warned you. The chocolate is the most difficult one to keep around for more than a day, especially if you use more than the 8 oz. of chocolate in the recipe. Try using fat free half/n/half next time. I used it on the last batch and it turned out OK.
    You shouldn't have to run the whole mile after eating it, the 800 meter waddle should suffice, this is America, after all, the land of excess... pounds.

    I have some fresh peaches and am going to give them a churn this weekend. I know this will not end well.
