Yeah, the telephoto I want is only $1,700.

(of course, the $600 one I have now does a damn fine job, I just have lens envy)

Like JG said earlier... $3,500 sets you up right (well, and then you have to buy a body).

Goddamn Larry, I love you. I'm gonna rent some shit for 3 weeks. One before my wedding, and two for my wedding/honeymoon.

    Great call!

Speaking of... I told my wife to be that if I have two more great months in sales I want to hire a prof photographer for 3 days in Nassau. The guys are playing golf for two days and the girls are having a bridesmaid luncheon at a sweet place and then chick day on the wedding day.

She told me I was crazy and didn't understand how much that would cost.

I'm a lil tipsy so I apologize for the enthusiasm. I guess I contradicted myself about renting a lens and hiring a professional.

I wish I would have planned ahead and hired you. The resort where we are getting hitched has a photographer, but I've seen his work when we came down last fall to scout. He puts all pics on a cd. It's cheap, but you get what you paid for. When I say cheap, I mean he comes with the wedding package.

Cheap and good are not necessarily mutually exclusive with photographers.
