"Normally," I'd say split'em. But, "knowing" that the music enjoyed by most of this board's posters encompasses much/mostly visual aspects(than, say strictly audio perceived music such as classical and jazz), I say keep them lumped together; that there's not much sense in separation since this music(IMHO)and movies are both essentially visual arts.

This maybe just technical or loophole thinking on my part.:D

This board's just a highly trafficked board with some music threads on it. It's serving nothing but to kill most all music talk, with just a few threads up. It was done, hopefully, to force more users into music, but that didn't work. So unless the idea was simply to get rid of a somewhat productive forum for space's sake, I don't think it did what it should have.

it had nothing to do with space.

its fine just like it is Larry.

No reason why music can't be talked over here. All somebody has to do is start a thread and continue posting.

    Seems pretty simple to me....

Even you've admitted you hadn't posted in Music much right before the merge.

The threads that are up are in order of the last post, and Music didn't have as many recent posts as M&T when the merge occurred.

It can be talked about. But it isn't. Not when there's a hundred threads about various reality shows I don't care to read. It did better in its own space, and the activity's dropped a whole ton since. So I guess, even though I've been talking about music and bumping threads, I'll just give in and forget about talking about music since it's not popular enough.
