    just wonder what people would recommend of either music or film that didn't/doesn't hit the national radar as being good. for instance, i'm rocking out to

    interpol - obstacle 1
    sigur ros - untitled 1
    and
    the roots - seed 2.0

    any suggestions/recommendations?

    kristin scott thomas was in this film "angels and insects". the guy in it was the main character, mark rylance. brit film. very well-done.

    "antonia's line" is another film that didnt really make it big here. however, it won an academy award for best foreign film.

    dutch. subtitles....but worth the time and trouble!

    check this one out.     :D

    the roots are big.

    fuel is hella good. not a lot of people listen to them. go figure.

    What kind of music do you like? I can recommend an assload of heavy metal bands that never get radio play.

    Old ones no doubt. Not a lot of good metal out there. And please don't say Cradle of Filth.

    recommend whatever, i'm really tired of everyday radio and want to hear something different and new.
