I've got 4 guitars and I don't play any of them on a regular basis. I like to play, but between work and kids and everything else it just doesn't seem like a priority.

And I think they all need new strings. More and more time...

let me guess...they're all acoustic too.

Just do it. Play more. Find some time late at night where you can restring it, play it, and just get at it. It doesn't do itself.

Wow. A real sorta-music thread. Had to happen eventually.

My dad wants to spend the weekend with me sometime just playing, maybe go see a friend of ours that's a classically trained musician. Might be the kind of weekend that inspires me to get back into it.

    I woodshed & study 4 to 6 hours a day.
I'd like to play more, too; but, in the way of gigs.

I wish I had that much time. I kick myself for not doing more of it when I had time. I shoulda come out of college ten times better than I did.
What the hell else do you do in a day?

If you're gonna play in Texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band.

I've been waiting 3 years to use this line in context. Thank you, math.:mushy:
