    Maybe as a compromise their child could go to Georgia during fall football season and UNC during basketball season.

    My roomates are both UNC fans, does that make them just as bad as me, or is it ok cause their UNC fans? Half the people on this board cheer for a team when they went to a different school or never went to college at all. I'll take the school I've been cheering for my whole life over the school I've attended for academic reasons for only 3 years.

    Half? I would say it's more like 90% that cheer for another team from where they went.

    Being a Duke fan is fine, but you have to make up your mind. You're a laughing-stock because you're all gung-ho about Georgia and the SEC during football season, then completely switch and become a rabid Duke lover during basketball. Pick a school and stick with them.
