Man, I forgot about the Rat Patrol. Those jeeps jumping the dunes, 50 calibers blazing. Rommel meat running everwhere, ahhhhh..........

Loved all these when I was young... but I think they would bore me if I watched them now.

I miss Highlander, but I have a lot of those on video, so I can get a fix now & then.

REAL cartoons, like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tom & Jerry, political incorrectness and all. You can still find them now & then, but I loved having a regular time each week to lose myself in them. My earliest appreciation of classical music came from Looney Tunes :mushy:

And The Carol Burnett Show!!! There haven't been any good variety shows on TV in years, & that show rocked! It was, without fail, hiliarious.

Also, not a show, but a star: Gilda Radner on the original Saturday Night Live. She was priceless!

    I miss "Homicide"

"Homicide: Life on the Street." Riveting storylines and wonderful cast (Yaphet Kotto, Andre Braugher, Ned Beatty, Kyle Secor, Clark Johnson). One of the best crime dramas NBC has ever made IMO.

This is where Direct TV has me sold. Cartoon Network has a channel called Boomerang, and all it is is the old cartoons...it's awesome....and for the time being, there are no commercials.

I can't believe other people miss Airwolf...i thought i would be alone on that one...

    Other shows i miss:

    Dungeons and Dragons
    Woody Woodpecker
    Heckel and Jeckle
    MTV when they were good
    The Muppets
    Good old fashioned game shows.
