First 3 days I fasted. Since then i have just cut out the bread and butter. I don't eat sweets or drink soda so the bread and some fried foods were getting me. I been eating fish and tunafish a lot and an occasional Bubba and the water delivery guy has been working overtime. I just happen to be one of the people that loves water.:)

Putt, the way you did it is the best way to do it. It's called cutting calories. You ate less food = less calories. You ate different foods = less calories. You drank different drinks = less calories. You probably burn around 2000 calories a day, even if you just sit around on your ass. About a year ago I lost over 20 pounds by eating less than 2000 calories almost every day for several months. I still drank beer and ate a lot of the same foods I always did, just less of it. (Less of the food that is not the beer.:D )

Throw in some excersise like jogging, walking the dog, golfing, etc and it comes off quicker. (I'm not sure if fucking helps or not but hey, it can't hurt.:D )

    hints:
If you drink soda, drink diet.
If you drink coffee or tea no sugar. Sweet and Low is OK.
    Mustard instead of mayo.
Easy on the fast food and never super size it. As a matter of fact, choose between the sandwich and the fries.

Of course, this is coming from a guy that needs to lose 20 more.

If you drink coffee or tea no sugar. Sweet and Low is OK. Don't drink neither one--never have except a tea once a year or so.

Mustard instead of mayo. my biggest adjustment but durn that jar of Dukes sure looks good sitting there.:)

Throw in some excersise like jogging, walking the dog, golfing, etc and it comes off quicker. my plan is to get back to 3 or 4 days a week of golf again.

Yeah it can, you ain't seen the look in my wifes eyes when I bring that subject up.

Thanks for the response Barry. I ain't wanting to lose a bunch cause I got little people waiting to kick my ass if I get too small.;)

I keep saying I am going back to it but then I don't and blame it on the heat or the rain or something. They'll come a time that you can too and you will be taking your son in law or grandson with you.;)
