    no exercise & eating after 7:30 is alot of my problem.

    I dont know i can eat after 7:30PM and not exercise and not be fat.One of my problem when i use to be 208Ibs was becuase i use to eat 12 Ice cream everyday.I allso use to finsh a box of Ice cream in day.And now becuase im eating good i lost 58Ibs and im now back at where i need to be at 160ibs

    Archangel, I too hit the 300 lb mark recently. In fact, four weeks ago I weighed 321 lbs (I'm 6'5"). I joined the Y because I also want to see my kids grow up. To make a long story short, I am down 25 lbs since joining (296 lbs this morning). I do 30-45 minutes on the eliptical machine and another 30 minutes or so on the Nautilus equipment. You have to make going to the gym a habit, which is the key. I go every weekday by 5:15 am and at my leisure on the weekends. The two days I missed during the last month kind of left me feeling a bit funny, like I needed to be at the Y. Also, don't get suckered into one of those low carb fad diets either. I've been limiting my caloric intake to no more than 2,000 per day by eating healthy foods and have seen the fat literally melt off. Hang in there.

    I am in a similar situation as some of you guys. I am not at that size but I have allowed myself to become "pudgy" not quite fat yet but I am quite soft. My biggest problem seems to be a loss of will power. I like food....always wanted to be a chef. Recently I seem to be aware of things that I should not eat. But some how I always end up 10 minutes later regretting my ingestion. Thats a horrible excuse and I know that but i really dont understand what has caused this inability at self regulation. My fix for this is a 2 day fast. Not wanting to lose weigt from the fast as much as reassure myself that I can do it. If I can go 2 days my confidence wll be mch higher. I figure 2 days is not bad for you really so long as I drink my wheat grass and vitamins and enough water. I dont look at it as an anoerexic thing just a reinforcement. This will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. Should be interesting.
