When you really examine the definition of a christian, it's a little unreasonable to expect anyone to fall under that category, especially in today's society. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

I don't necessarly believe in God, but I actually like the Christian ideals and I give credit to anyone who tries to live by them.

Thing is, one of the main Christian ideals is to believe in God. The remaining social contract stuff was already done via Confucianism.

There is some evidence to support the hypothesis.

Have you ever heard of Mirathas or Marathas? I'm not real sure of the spelling.

It's Marathas. I don't know a lot about them, but I know what you're talking about.

I have met christians that are unteachable. These christians have put themselves above others with their dogma, doctrine and rituals. I don't like to hang around these people and Jesus didn't like to hang with them either.

If you follow Jesus and His practices then you know that He enjoyed life and hung around those that lived life with joy.

At age 12 Jesus enjoyed debating with Priest.

When Jesus returned to Israel he preferred staying with tax collectors and and a class of people looked down on in society. The Apostles were constantly upset with Jesus because of who He hung around.

The first miracle Jesus performed was turning six waterpots containing 20 to 30 gallons of water into wine. Jesus enjoyed a good party (John 2:3-10).

Jesus didn't preach salvation to thousands, 100's or 10 people, but He preached salvation to one person who was Nicodemus a ruler of the Jews.(John 3:16). Jesus spoke in parables, etc.

Jesus did show some anger with those that desecrate the temple with money changers, sellers of mite infested doves, etc.

So, I'm trying to be more like Jesus than the Priest of the world.

Thank you. Maybe we need a thread about Marathas?

Not hanging around them is wise but what are you doing about those christians representing you? Being the voice and the representation of christianity to people that don't know which christian is the "right" type of christian?
