No. I woke up before I could dream about secondary and O-line. :(

Still, it's pretty bad when your dreams are more informed about college players than my waking conscience.

Any dream that involves not tossing your first round pick down the drain for 2-3 years or potentially - forever, sounds like a good dream to me.

I could be wrong, probably am, but what the hell - I'm guessing first round running backs have had bigger impacts to their teams the first year or two than 1st round QBs... just a guess.

    That's of course true.

Running backs, if healthy and allowed to start, usually show you sometime during year one that they can do it, or not. Either you have vision, or not. This is why most ROY are runningbacks. Not too many guys on WP's list that were busts initially and then became impact players in year 3, barring injury.

Most WR and virtually all rookie QBs struggle in year one. For WR, it takes a year to learn the system. Even guys like Stallworth who is playing well, he's playing well as a #3 reciever. Most take time. For QBs, Partly because of the time it takes to adjust to NFL speed, partly because teams that take them usually suck anyway so it doesn't matter who the QB is (see Detroit, Texas).

Its interesting that the one rookie QB, Marino, who had a real stellar year, was taken by a team that won the Super Bowl the previous year.

    Food for thought.
