that is one of the things i DON'T like about football. all hype, all week, 1 game. overkill.

and i suppose for these 10 teams battling for 2 wildcard spots in baseball, every game doesn't matter?

Sure from here on out, but the first half of the season the games almost seem meaningless. I am basicly trying to say the season is just way too long, and it loses my interest quickly.

so the huge roll the kc royals started the season on was meaningless? that horrible start for the white sox doesn't matter? these are just 2 examples. teams battling for a spot and the start of the season has greatly affected them both. IMO opinion, every game DOES count, from 1 to 162 or until you're eliminated from the playoff picture. i don't think the season is too long.

you guys are funny with your assumptions...

i will say this, if you were a braves fan prior to ted turner than i have a little more respect for you.

i am 35 years old, i watched my first yankees game on tv when i was 3. i have never not been a yankees fan and i have never been a fan of any other team.

the yankees are the team every other team only wishes they were. why do you think red socks fans hate them so much.

    carry on.........

I have been a Braves fan since 1968 when I saw my first game at what was then a fairly new Fulton County Stadium.

    Lots of good old players

Hank Aaron, Clete Boyer, Mike Lum, Orlando Cepeda, Dusty Baker Phil Neikro, Darrell Evans, Bob Horner, Dale Murphy.

I remeber when they played the Amazing Mets in the 69 playoffs. Thought they were going to the World Series that year
