I wasn't able to move, not even type until this morning. I have been so miserble the last couple days. I'm still not able to do much, and I'm not working except to catch up on emails etc.... I am able to type for a few minutes at a time before I go back to The Lifetime Channel.

    Bullets welcomed at this point.

I would like to say I was injured while rafting, jogging, playing ball of some sort, aerobics anything.......... However- all I did was put my hair up yesterday morning around 5:45 to go and fill in for someone @ work. I raised my arms and that's pretty much where that muscle in my shouder has stayed until today. When it first happened, I almost passed out, got nauseated, almost threw up and wasn't sure I was going to make it to work. I drove by blowing the horn to change lanes because I couldn't turn.

It's amazing how much you use your neck and shoulder muscles until you can't use them. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, not even the most evil, vile, lying, self absorbed human I know.

I get pinched nerves in my neck every now and again. Where I can't fully turn my head. Try a really hot bath.

Can you raise your arm at all? And if so where does it hurt?

I was headed to an Ortho site yesterday anyway, so I was seen, xrayed and treated by 8:30. It's just a big old pulled muscle that has pulled my cervical spine straight (it usually has a normal curve to it.) I used hot towels, this rub called Bioflex (good stuff), and herb packs on it all day yesterday. They gave me anti inflams, pain meds and muscle relaxers, but little has helped it. Even Motrin, my all time favorite standby hasn't touched it. I couldn't raise my arm yesterday, actually I couldn't move at all. Honeygirl called me and I couldn't hold the phone. I had to prop it on a pillow beside me and wedge it against the couch.

It's getting better today, and being on the computer is just stupid, but I couldn't take another movie or daytime talk show and I can't hold a book to read. I had to get up for a while.
