Speaking of radio play-by-play, I don't know how old Bob Harris is, and I loved him growing up, but I thought his calls this year were particularly bad. I rarely listened to the radio but when I did I heard mispronounced names, flat out wrong names, and slow calls overall. I feel like he unfortunately has lost a step, which is sad considering the current state of play-by-play.

It might be harder to replace Bob Harris than it is to replace Coach K lol.

In all seriousness, though, Woody Durham has an AMAZING voice and is an unabashed homer. He'd fit in well with Atlanta Braves announcers, I've always sort of admired how the world must look through his Carolina Blue glasses.

I heard the "not used to his style of play" call last night. pretty funny, but finding out Woody is a UNC homer is "moon". football games are even worse because they are often getting stomped and his call would lead you to believe they are up 2TD's.

Woody is old and is having trouble seeing and hearing. He is doing what all old people do; he's speaking his mind without thinking about it. He didn't used to be this bad, but I can see how someone not a UNC fan can think that. Hopefully his son will replace him; his son sounds just like him and it won't be so obvious it's a Carolina biased radio announcer. If you're a UNC fan however, you love Woody Durham because he says what we want to hear, IMO.

Montross has suprised me, he's doing a pretty decent job.

True, Montross is the man. UNC's radio broadcast got 10x better when they replaced Mick Mixon with Montross.
