    It should be able who you beat, not who you lose to.

    I'd rank FSU ahead of several teams that did get in, but not ahead of several other teams I'd put in ahead of them.

    ok -- fsu was able to beat the #1 overall seed and defending national champion and winner of the SEC regular season and conference tournament.

    All that is true, but FSU should have won a couple more league games. I guess 7-9 just didn't cut it.

    Their best wins, in order were:

    Florida (@ home)
    Duke (AWAY!)
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    Maryland (@ home) (they lost by 18 to them on the road)
    Va Tech (@ home)

    Oh, and they beat a nosediving Clemson team in the ACC tourney. And finished the season 3-6 in their last nine.

    That's it Larry. They were 1-8 in away games against the RPI top 150. 1-8.

    That said, Ga Tech was similar. So I understand your beef. Then again, that one road win they had was against FSU.

    I wasn't aware that FSU was considered to have much of a chance to begin with.
