While at Walmart (I can hear the moans lol) I came accross the Atkins book. Since it was only 6 bucks I bought it because couriousity got the best of me. While reading it I discovered that the diet is very close to what I have been trying to do anyways. It further explained about the hypoglycymia stuff a bit better and I can understand a bit more of whats happening to me. Im not going to do the interductery part of the diet where I have to cut out carbs dramaticaly but I will be counting carbs to keep them at a low level. I found I do eat a lot of no carb stuff anyways. I didnt know chicken and turkey were no carbs and I eat a lot of that anyways. But as for the snacks I will eat more salade and Ill grab for more fruits instead of breads or cereals. I can aim for the low glycemic stuff he has a list of instead. With all this Im not just trying to lose weight but also better my health.
Tonight I walked the dog a mile because thats all she can take but I rode my bike for two miles afterwards. I feel pretty good except for my legs lol. The felt like rubber when I got off the bike but at least they arent hurting :) As for my astma, it didnt kick in although I expected it too. With that, it gives me the courage to push myself a little harder when it comes to exersizing. One way or another Im going to lose weight and work my muscles so that not only will I feel good but look good too. But as for the book, it will only be a guide for me. As for you great people, you will be my encouragement to keep going. As for my husband, I got him to cook better meals a long time ago and he supports me. He is even willing to particapate in the low carb stuff because diabeties runs in his family big time. I have even encouraged him to walk with me at night and hopefully by this weekend he will ride a bike with me too.

That was the most reasonable action plan I've seen on here yet. You go girl! Eat less, eat more responsibly, get some exercise, and make that exercise part of your regular family lifestyle. Sounds like a long-term winner to me.

My regular lifstyle involves massive quantities of caffeine, sitting around, masturbating, and plenty of pork and cheese.

    I also like sleeping.

I truly envy your lifestyle. I will not, however, envy your kidney stones.
