    Breaking News in HD&MM Saga

    LOU'S HOLLYWOOD REPORT
    By Lou Stenson

Many in the entertainment industry and a legion of fans had given up hope that a sequel to 1991 cult classic "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man" would ever be made. The original's two stars, Don Johnson and Mickey Rourke, had huge egos and butted heads repeatedly during its filming, and their potential asking price for making what would be dubbed "HD&MM II" scared away producers.

But now, 15 years after the critically-acclaimed orginal hit the big screens, it appears that second installment will at long last become reality, albeit without its original stars. Rourke refuses to take part in the film, and Johnson has said he would take part, but only as a consultant.

Hollywood insiders say C. Thomas Howell will play the part of Johnson's Marlboro Man, while Jeremy Piven will take on the role of Rourke's Harley Davidson.

A production date has not yet been revealed. Stay tuned for further developments in this story, and remember, you'll hear it first in LOU'S HOLLYWOOD REPORT.
