anywhere I lay my head I'm gonna call my home
jam type stuff - live Bela Fleck, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Addison Groove Project
    anything that looks good at
    http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?PHPSESSID=11d7c8870bd8a64560c27b6547fddfe0

    Electronic - Portishead, Björk

rock - My Morning Jacket, pavement, Morphine,

You can't hate Jimi Hendrix. This isn't typical classic rock - the guy's still technically ahead of his time because no one's moved past him. He also does an incredible catalogue of blues.

blues - live BB King, John Lee Hooker, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Susan Tedeschi, Taj Majal, Johnny Winter

Also, Ben Folds does some alt-geek-rock with his Ben Folds Five work, but his live shows by himself are also great. He does some traditional waltz and other piano conventions with absolutely incredible lyrics backing it.

    Ugh, I hate Zeke.

Rock - The Shins and Midtown are two bands that just put out records I like. Knapsack is good. Skiploader. Alkaline Trio.

Emo - Planes Mistaken for Stars, Texas is the Reason, At the Drive-In, The Jealous Sound.

Punk - Jawbreaker, 88 Fingers Louie, Bollweevils, Scared of Chaka, 90 Lbs Wuss.
