    Has been mediocre at best, clueless at worst. Newton seems to be going right for him so far. In the end, all the media will judge him on is Cam.

    As I remember it, newton was a "group pick" that both owner and coach weighed in on heavily. I'd like to know just how much hurney really had to do with what is arguably the most crucial pick in team history. I would bet that JR did not leave his fragile balls solely in the clumsy hands of the hurnster on that one.

    the team has more or less always said that all decisions are team decisions. I'm sure Marty is a nice guy, and people needlessly shit on him for "not being a football guy" thirty years into his career in football administration, but if we could do better, we should. It'll also likely take a lot more drastic change above him, and then I give it 50/50 to work. Good football men are somewhat rare, so for now I'm just hoping he stops doing that Beathard trade shit.
