I would be well beyond shocked if a new GM kept him. I'd be curious to know how many examples there have ever been of a new GM not changing head coaches.

Holmgren kept Mangini under similar circumstances.

    was going to post that.
Not many other examples that I'm aware and that's not a shining gem to behold.

Could happen. Season's young. It'll be more interesting to see if they snag someone during the season, which might happen, than what they do with coaches, where it'll all go eventually anyway.

Which I hate, but I also hate the product on the field for the first time in a while. Love the scheme, hate the execution.

a positive turn in this team over the next 10 games would go a long away.. but, yeah.. I'd be shocked too... Rivera may have already lost his franchise player..

Haven't yet heard an argument against Mangini, for the record.

I dont like him. That's my argument. Seems like a huge huge huge huge butthole with a fat face. I'd kinda hope he got raped in the shower.

    Purrsy don't like him.

FWIW, the part about Mangini running too tough practices might been valid during his previous coaching periods, but those were before the current CBA. New limits are in place.

I don't really have an opinion about mangini but it does seem odd he can't sniff another coaching gig since getting fired. Torn if he was the snitch in the patriots spy gate thing. No respect for cheaters but as much lack of respect for a snitch
