I'm surprised Bobby Cox didn't have a stroke over that one.

Saw that highlight last night and my jaw dropped. I've seen lots of bad calls, but that may be the worst.

I was watching the game. When the guy rung him out, I couldn't help but laugh. I called a buddy and told him to flip it over to the game, because an ump just made what might be the worst call of all time. Unbelievable.

he had to have just given the wrong signal, and could have corrected himself. I can't believe anyone would actually look at that play and think that was an out.

That is maybe the worst call in history. It's a good thing the Braves cruised or Cox would have been ejected....for life.

How does MLB handle these situations? Does an ump have to ask another ump for help? Or can the other umps just tell the guy he blew it? I know they can reverse a call because they already did it during a Braves game this season.
