HTC Hero

    Have had my HTC Hero for about 2 months now, great phone, head and shoulders better than the blackberry I had.

    No problems at all with the service either. Actually I get better reception than with the BB.

    you know i said that, and i'll probably try it even though i read somewhere sprint blocks that stuff, but then my ps3 & my daughters imac would be offline... depending on how long i'm going to be unemployed though, i may be losing my cell before i lose road runner....

    I am on Verizon now and have a USB modem with them in addition to a family cell phone plan. All the family has is texts and voice. For about the same money I spend now everyone could have smart phones with unlimited access if i drop the air card and tether my phone.

    I have had 2 different Sprint sales people tell me about PDANet under the table. It works on the phones but is not allowed by the contract. As long as you don't go crazy with bandwidth usage they won't know.
