Cool phone... I'm enjoying it. It is very fast. Lots of apps, 5.0mp camera, TV, IM, etc...

I'm with Sprint, so iPhone not an option... but Best Buy is the best place to buy a cell phone. They handle the rebates for one. Same phone at the Sprint store would have cost me $349 out of pocket and then $100 rebate. BB had the same phone for $179, then it went on sale for $50 off a week later and they credited it back to my card...

Yeah, I just picked up the Droid and switched from an iPhone. Same android OS as yours, yours has the cooler sense UI though. I was happy with the iPhone, miserable with the AT&T service. The android OS feels more like a real computer OS than a phone OS than anything I've previously used. I really like it, but I'm not sure if it's going to take off with the masses, since you have to do some digging and research to find out how to use all the functionality.

it is more like a little computer than a cell phone... navigate to http://www.android.com/market with your phone to download apps

agreed on att service, sprint rocks... $69/month unlimited data/texts and minutes to any mobile phone on any network

If i could surf the internet on my laptop through my phone, i'd cancel road runner

I just got one too. Its very easy to manipulate files when connected via usb. I can just drag and drop music and photos...beats the shit out of itunes.

I changed to the droid from a blackberry too. I was playing with the maps on the way back from charlotte this weekend. I almost had buyer's remorse when I ordered it, but after using the phone for a week, it is the best phone I've ever owned.

Best Buy has it for $99. My contract for verizon is up soon and i'm switching to Sprint. I'm either getting this Hero or the Samsung Google moment.

Are you guys still in love with your Hero?

    You'll be disappointed with Sprint.

Primarily because of lack of coverage in rural areas.
