    Yea, I compared the two. I just signed up for HSBC last week cause the rate was higher. I missed the 6% though. Easy process but it takes a while. I am earning more on that account than the CD and IDA accounts I have. I figured an online account would be good for my daughters savings. That and having some money direct deposited into it from my paycheck each month. I figure, if rates do eventually fall, the online accounts will still be higher than traditional brick and mortor banks.
