    checking in

have not realy followed a diet yet , fell into the cravings after day 2 , but i have increased my water intake from 0 cups a day to a full gallon jug a day.

I have also stopped eating such big portions , even though im still eating bad stuff but dropping the portion size big time for me at least , example : instead of 6 or more slices of pizza only 3 max

10 days and im down to 223 from 230 , now if i could just quit drinking 4 sodas a day and start exercising , its tough as i have toe probs and will probably have to have them taken care of in the upcoming month but should be good to go after that

well im down 7 in 10 days and i aint done much , so that is a big boost of confidence for when i actualy start making the real change

    you got that right, pantherking.

all it takes is just a few good decisions here and there, then you'll see the results and want to try making a few more good decisions.

pretty soon, you'll be fitting in pants a size smaller -- and that's without working out and killing yourself for a month.

you'll get to the point where exercise is something you want to do -- but for now, just changing your eating habits is a great step.

Sure, KPig! It's easy for you Memphisans to cut out the carbs when you don't even use barbeque sauce :p

I make my own BBQ sauce. I use it sparingly, and always on the side, except on pulled pork sandwiches. I guess I'll have to come up with a low-carb version.

Atkins sells a low car BBQ sauce. Check at one of your local health food stores (GNC for us in Kansas).

I think I'll work on my own version. I doubt GNC's is "Memphis" style:^) I have already found low carb brown sugar substitute.
