    Did I hear correctly that after 11 years, Howard Stern's E! Show was given its pink slip today? Que pasa? interviewing porn stars & strippers every other night eventually killed its ratings :confused: ? ? ?

    if E! did dump him, i wonder if it was more his doing.

    The contract was ending. E! knew that to keep Stern, they'd have to pony up some serious money. So, they cancel the show to save the embarassment of him leaving.

    Yeah, also I heard they wanted him to tone it down a bit. Anyhow, he might've been a bit concerned because there was a bit of time between when he knew his contract was not going to be renewed and when Sirius picked him up....

    Yeah, I think so... I agree it did get old after a while though. They have done the same porn star interviews/games etc over and over. Howard has mentioned that there may be somehting else in the works, but he can't comment on it until his E! contract was over. I might watch if it was on an uncensored channel (HBO, Showtime, etc.) :ylsuper:
