How to burn a movie to a cd-r??

    Puttingood how are you my friend??;) Can you give me a step by step on how to do it ??I tried it with Roxio 5 and it failed.Would not play on my DVD player.Are their any software programs I need.I have Nero.Should I try it.I see Nero has an option to burn a VideoCD.Is this the way to go.Any help I thank you

    It is a Windows Media player file.It is the full version of Shrek.It says (MEG)shrek full 342,334 KB Video Clip

    I don't know if DVD players can play data files like that one. And CD writers can't create DVD's.

    Just use the Nero wizard, when it asks if your burning audio or data use data just like Putt said, peice of cake.

    Just tell Nero to burn a Video CD. It might ask you if it's okay to convert the format, just say yes and you'll probably end up with a CD that can be played in almost any DVD player just like normal. Quality is lower than DVD, but it's good enough...
