Bears | Go Ahead And Shop Around - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
5:49 PT: The Chicago Tribune reports the Chicago Bears have given WR Marcus Robinson the OK to shop around for a potential trade to a new team. The Bears reportedly are willing to accept a low-round draft choice in a deal that likely will include restructuring the remaining year on his contract.

I would sure be interested in:

1.)seeing what kind of deal we work out for Robertson and a swap of first round picks.

2.) what they consider a "low round pick"

3.) what's marcus willing to play for ($)

I'd give a 5th - what he was drafted for - if he passes a good physical and is willing to add a second year to his contract. He's from SC right?

While he'd be a substantial upgrade over Byrd, he's injury prone, plain and simple, and we've already got a top notch 3rd WR in Smith. I think I'd pass on him if it were up to me.

I'd offer a 6 first and see if they'd take the bait... if not then a 5

and a little depth behind our starters would be nice. i can't recall, did we have any injury time at the wr position this year?

no, we didn't, unless you count the entire year.

We're terribly understaffed at WR. Robinson and a speedy young guy like Aiken in the third'd be the straight up shit.

I'd pass on Robinson, he's had back spasms three years running. Past Hammy trouble, and has displayed poor work ethic outside of gameday.
