    the answer to both ,I think, is because they DID play dook. its not like they lost to wingate or something.

    lose to a good school on the road, beat a good school at home you stay even.

    UNC lost to a top ten team by one on the road, three days later beats a top 20 team on the road - you aren't going to slip much doing that.

    I'm just surprised Wake didn't jump ahead of UNC
