    So 0-17?
So who would they hope to get in next year's draft that will turn things around for them? Defense or offense? If they have the overall number one would they draft a QB at #1?

So, you're thinking that playing a rookie QB for a majority of the season gives him an excuse if the team has a sub 500 record and buys him another year?

yeah I don't see more than 4 wins (most likely 3 MAX) Vs those teams
so Carolina will probably be picking 1st or 2nd . .. unless they trade that pick away for another mediocre QB

    Looking at the schedule
Falcons games should be wins Mariotta is a downgrade on even an old Matt Ryan. and he gets hurt a lot- Ridder is likely to play more than a quarter of the season. WW
Saints They're playing hide the QB like we are. team health dictates the winner here. I'll say its a split W
    Bucs- not happening
Cardinals- We own their asses. W
    Browns- Karma W
Bengals- They're the 2003 Panthers. a 9 win team that played well over expectations and got hot in the postseason. Hangovers for those teams are particularly nasty. W
Seattle Seahawks- Speaking of the 2003 Panthers ole Pete thinks the problem with their strategy was that they didn't run and play defense hard enough, and that punts are in fact great plays. W
New York Giants- Coaching upgrade. You can't fix gettleman that easily, this is my headge W.

I'm thinking the cheapskate idiot in the owners box won't fire him. Rhule is our Matt Millen.

I think we win three of our division games.
Between the Cardinals, Browns, Lions and Broncos at home, we ought to take three of those.
At Seattle or New York we may steal a win.

That gives us about seven wins. Should put us in spitting distance of a good first round QB next year if Corral looks like a rookie, Rhule is fired, and the new coach wants his own guy.

You guys are optimistic. 2 wins verses Falcons. Maybe Lions

The team lost heart last season and I think an uptick in Oline play will keep us in a ton more games. Giving up the most sacks in the league was not good. Draft picks and FA purchases will help

A for the Ekwonu pick, even though Fitterer was probably forced to sit at 6 and take an OT.

B- for Corral. Trading a future 3rd was dumb but I like the player. I like CJ's Jeff Garcia comp.

C- for Brandon Smith. Nice measurables but his tape is ass. Rhule's Penn St. ties had to influence this one.

B for Barno. I'm surprised he didn't go a little higher.

C for Cade Mays. He's probably just another Dennis Daley.

D- for Barnes. His speed is the only reason why it's not an F.

B- Overall, heavily weighted towards the first rounder.

6-11, 7-10 at best...this assuming CMC continues to be a part timer.
