How do the Bobcats reach the next level

    This will clear out a lot of cap space as well.

    From a cap standpoint, I would rather have Diop gone than Mohammad. He's untradeable though.

    So overall, what do these trades do to our cap situation?

    Wallace and Mohamed both had high cap figures. The big man we got from Portland and Mo Peterson both have expiring contracts. The other two guys are low cap figure guys. The two picks will not have high cap figures either. This should put us well below the luxury tax and leave enough room to sign a big time free agent if we want and one wants to come here.

    This year I think. Combined with our own we will have three first round picks. We could probably move up in the draft with those if we want to.

    I just read on Twitter that the combined 2011-12 salaries of the 4 players we got will be $2 million. Pretty good salary dump, I'd say.

    i found it , its a conditional pick from the hornets in the bayless trade

    could not find the conditions

    so were pretty much gonna have 3 picks about the 10 to 22 range depending on how bad we are now

    From what I've read from the "experts" this is a weak draft upcoming and their history of picking players is bad. Combining those two factors is not good.
