    Just wondering....

I've been playing tabs for a while and after I get alright with them, I'll move into something deeper.

oh, that's easy. I didn't. But I could thumb the bass notes so I messed around on bass instead. I could get good if I had time.

My dad gave me a hand-drawn set of the basic chords and I practiced and practiced. I tried to play songs I knew, and watched him. Just takes time.

A guy drew pic's of where to put my fingers for C, F & G. Said I could play anything ever written. The rest is history. The highlight was being on TV singing my rendition of Buffy Saint Marie's Universal Soldier and Dade County Jail in a black turtle neck:rolleyes:

Oh yeah, quite the mop top. That didn't last long. It just kept on going.

    Easy...

I had already played piano for years...

Ordered "Doug Mark's Heavy Metal Method." Our of Hit Parader. I was jamming in a month. Continued to play be ear and tab for about 3 years. Then started taking lessons.
